Message from the General Commissioner

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is with great joy and deep consideration that I speak to you on the occasion of this 5th edition of SIETTA, which will take place from November 12 to 14, 2026 in Abidjan.

The Ivorian Government has made local cashew processing a top priority. The processing level rose from 6.2% in 2014 to 43% of national production in 2025, representing 659,000 tons processed.

This 5th edition is part of the ambition to reach 1 million tons by 2030. The theme "Cashew Processing: Beyond the Kernel" serves as a roadmap for the sector.

Our ambition: to make Côte d'Ivoire the African showcase for a complete, diversified, and competitive cashew industry.
